When you purchase a paddle, put the Pro Skin on to protect the original grit and then remove it for any sanctioned tournaments (they're not yet UPA/USAP certified, as they're removable).
Simply peel off the liner, apply the skin like a sticker and play. When it’s time for a refresh, peel it off, and put on a new Pro Skin. For aggressive players, this should last about 2-3 months. For recreational players, it should last 6-8 months.

Skins with friction
These skins are lightweight. I don’t feel and increase in swing weight and spin has definitely increased. The feel of the paddle off the face is the same, no dampening or change. They are worth it.
